Money we don't accept
- No money from installers, sellers or energy suppliers, also not for a listing or a higher position.
- No ads.
- No money for the quote you have checked. Whether you sign that quote or not makes no difference to us.
- No links to energy contracts from suppliers whose promises we check.
What we do earn from
Sometimes the calculation shows that another product fits your house better, for example a smaller plug-in battery. We may then show a link to a shop. If you buy through that link, the shop or an affiliate network pays us a fee.
- We only do this for products that come out better than your quote in the check.
- Next to every link we show what we earn: "We earn €X if you buy through this link. That doesn't change the calculation."
- You don't pay anything extra.
A voluntary contribution
After your result we ask whether you want to give something, for example €5, €10 or €25. You may, but you don't have to. Your result stays the same.
The calculation is separate from the money
We use the same rules for everyone. The alternative we show is the alternative with the shortest payback: the price divided by what it saves per year under the rules from 2027, among the products that fit your house. Whether a link pays us a fee plays no part. We show products without such a link just the same.
Via an energy advice desk or your municipality
Did you come via an energieloket (energy advice desk) or your municipality's website? Then you won't see links we earn money from, and we won't ask for a contribution. We remember this for 30 days with a small cookie. The cookie only says which desk you came from, nothing about you.
